DENVER SPORTS MASSAGE
REST SMARTER • RECOVER FASTER • REBOUND STRONGER
Denver & Boulder sports massage for Colorado's toughest athletes — climbers, mountain bikers, skiers, and runners ready to perform at their best.
Approach
what we do
REST
(60 min • 90 min • 120 min)
Rest sessions are designed to calm the nervous system and allow the body to fully let go. Through intentional pressure, steady glide, and thoughtful pacing, release tension and allow the body a place to finally heal.
Best for: General tension, mental and physical fatigue, feeling run down, or when your body needs to slow down.
RECOVER
(90 min • 120 min)
Recover sessions focus on chronic pain and problem areas that won’t seem to resolve on their own. By working through muscles superficial and deep while also focusing on fascial release, we improve blood flow, reduce restriction, and bring new life to tissues holding onto tension.
Best for: Chronic pain, overuse injuries, restricted movement, and athletes training through discomfort.
REBOUND
(90 min • 120 min)
Rebound sessions are performance-focused and built around getting you back to your sport feeling better than before. This work supports proper muscle firing, improved mobility, and efficient movement so your body is ready to handle higher output. Whether you’re returning from injury or ramping up training, Rebound is about moving with confidence and power—without pain holding you back.
Best for: Pre-event prep, return-to-sport, performance, and athletes ready to push their limits.

Who we are

Cody Theall
OWNER OF TENSION THERAPEUTICS
I’m Cody Theall LMT, a sports massage therapist working with athletes who take their training seriously. My focus is injury rehab, maintenance care, and performance-based recovery for people of Colorado who push their bodies hard and want them to last.
I work as a bodyworker, recovery specialist, and part of your training team. Sessions are guided by conversation, movement, and the real demands of your sport—addressing pain now so you can keep training, while building toward long-term resilience.

what They say
I’ve had multiple sessions with Cody and have always had a great experience. He’s incredibly attentive and makes a genuine effort to tailor each session to what your body needs that day. He checks in throughout the massage to make sure you’re comfortable, adjusts pressure when needed, and really focuses on the areas that need the most work.
Beyond being professional and knowledgeable, you can tell he truly cares about the experience his clients have and takes a lot of pride in the work he does. I always leave feeling significantly better than when I came in and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality bodywork and a thoughtful, personalized experience.
Cody is one of my favorite massage therapists! He does a great job at balancing comfort/relaxation with physical therapy and deeper work. His sessions are easy going and adaptive. Cody’s a great communicator and super attentive. As someone who’s very active, I always leave his sessions feeling more informed about what’s going on in my body during recovery, often finding stuff I didn’t know was there. Can’t recommend him enough for outdoor athletes.
Came in after a rotator cuff issue that had me off the wall for almost two months. Overhead movement was limited and I was starting to wonder if I'd get back to climbing at the level I was at before. Cody worked through the shoulder from all angles — not just the joint but everything around it that had tightened up compensating for it. He was upfront about what to expect and didn't oversell the timeline. I left with noticeably more range after the first session and was back climbing within a few weeks.
